I'd bought the big Pioneer after reading so many great reviews and then finally having the chance to demo it against 2 of it's peers, namely the Yamah RX-V3067 and the Denon AVR4310. I'd liked the look of the Pioneer for a while and I was secretly hoping that I'd prefer it over the other 2 and I needn't have worried - it was head and shoulders better!
When I finally got it home ad unboxed it I was so impressed with the build quality and the overall finish is wonderful.It was replacing a pretty good Onkyo amp and I was keen to hear just how much of an improvement it would be.
I have to say that although this is an expensive piece of kit I was still amazed at how much better it was compared with what I'd been using.Nearly £2K is a lot f money but I haven't regretted my purchase - except that it I had to then upgrade my speakers to really appreciate just how god this is. This will be a hard act to follow and I consider this will be with me for a long time to come.
